Certification
Summer Technology Institute participants will receive contact hours for the initial mentorship meeting(s) in April, May, and early June while they design a plan for their future work executed during the Institute. Thirteen hours will be granted for the completion of the Institute.
Additional hours will be obtainable through
- Meetings with technology mentors after the completion of the Institute
- Continuing to develop and finalize digital learning experiences or a digital learning environment for implementation in the fall.
- Sharing the digital learning experiences designed, developed and implemented with students with faculty members in department meetings, PLG-E groups, PLG groups, grade level meetings, content meetings, etc.
Teachers who wish to receive additional hours beyond the 13 awarded for participation in the Institute will be required to submit a work hours log signed by the participant submitted to Lisa Hogan. Another certificate will be awarded based on the additional hours completed. Just a reminder you are limited to 45 contact hours per goal.
